I agree with HogTownHarry. This is a perfectly decent over ice cider. I found the taste to be fresh and crisp with a slight after taste of apples.

Bottle at Fitzers Restaurant, Temple Bar, Dublin. Clear gold, with defined bubble trails. Beautiful flavour, being light and sweet, with a pleasantly smooth aftertaste. A very nice cider.

568ml bottle, brown. Deep golden yellow colour, next to no head but some lacing. Medium carbonation, oily(!) mouth feel. Aroma of fresh, citric apples and some booze. Medium-dry taste of ripe apples, again with a welcome citric note. It is not "sugary", as some people claim - clearly, people who have never tasted any other ciders before (ever tried Kopparberg?). Fruit and a slight citric bitterness are well-balanced, and the sour note lingers, as does the noticeable, but well-integrated alcohol. A real "session cider", if there is such a thing. Do not confuse with the Irish "Bulmers" cider, which is sold in England and internationally as "Magners" - this here is the original English Bulmers cider. Well, they’re all owned by Heineken anyway - but they don’t taste the same - Magners is sweeter! Very good "recreational" drink.

Tap at the Marquis Cornwallis in Bloomsbury. Copper tinged gold color. Fine white head that laced lightly. Near medium body. Very fresh apple flavor. Just a touch of skin. Nice apple aroma. Lightly sweet throughout. The brut champagne of English ciders.

Magic in a bottle! Perfect for summer days, a pint glass with ice and a pint bottle of bulmers, sweet apple flavour with decent amount of carbonation, very thirst quenching

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a quickly diminishing and lacing white head. Mild phenol apple aroma. Sweet apple flavour with a lot of sugarish notes following. Light acidic to citric touch before the finish. Medium sweet finish, non-artificial - nice.a

Label says Select Vat Matured, a bit more smooth than the normal original - I didn’t find this as sugarish either.
