568ml bottle. Pours a very fizzy apple juice yellow with no head. Bit of pear on the nose, not as strong as I expected, as well as some general sweetness and acidity. Initial pear sweetness on the tongue, immediately subsides with nothing on the finish. Thin body, fairly aggressive carbonation and a thin palate texture.

Draft. A light golden cider. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet with strong notes of pears, leading to a dry pear finish.

568ml Ƒ pint) bottle, green label (don’t confuse this with Magners Pear Cider). Pale golden colour, no head. Faint aroma of aniseed rather than pear. Medium carbonation, taste of ripe, sweet pear, but rather lightweight. Not as oppressively "floral" as some French ciders, this is actually a lean, very drinkable perry from one of England’s oldest makers of cider. Nice.

No great smell to speak of from this cider. Yellow colour without head. Too sweet and too fizzy. No real pear taste. Unimpressive.

Bottled. Pale yellowish green colour with technically no head. Aroma is sweet pear, sugar and mild earthy notes. Flavour quite much the same. Rather artificial taste and aroma.

[2166-20090517] 500mL can. Sweet pear juice syrup aroma. Clear, pale green yellow body with no head. Sweet pear juice continues in the flavour with mildly skunky "chemical" notes. Light-medium body. Smells good.

2009-05-17. Pale yellow body. Sweet mild aroma of candied pears has a very light chemical note. Flavour is sweet, pleasant syrupy pear flavour, halfway between the juice in a can of pears and a pear flavoured candy. Gets sweeter as it goes on and more sugary. Average palate is a touch light. Not awful but I can’t imagine drinking the whole can with this level of sweetness. Can from Murty Rabbits, Galway.
