| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 13/20 | Dec 21, 2009 I heard this is a step above PBR so I was pretty excited to try it... $2.99 for a six-pack!!! That is cheap as balls. So I poured this from the can, into a glass (drinking the first one in style, even though I don’t think I’ll be able to ignore the convenience of drinking a beer out of a can in the future.) It fizzed. I can’t remember the last time I had a beer that fizzed this audibly. Very yellow, clear, with a fizzy white head... it looks like any other pale lager really. Aroma is very faint malts and even fainter hops, but not at all offensive or boozy - it really smells like a almost decent pils. Taste is light as well, palate is of course way too bubbly. Overall, it really is better than expected. And for the price, damn, this is unbeatable. SuzyGreenberg (1408), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 11, 2009 One of the most prestigious Pale Lagers out thereaccording to RB (and the cheapest to boot). Got a six pack of cans for 3.25. Golden body with tall white head that held descently well and left some lace. Smells of pale malt and a hint of herbal hops. Flavor is very clean: pale malt with some herbal hops too. Medium body with medium low carbonation. Glad it isn’t overly carbonated like most PLs. Overall: very sessionable and smooth and inoffensive. This is pretty much the same rating as my rating for Burger Light, this one is juts a slight bit better. Both very clean and smooth. Don’t get much adjuncts, its nice and clean.A little lemon in finish. If this was my local pale lager I would drink the hell out of it. after4ever (2822), Brier, Washington, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 26, 2009 79 cent single can. Can’t beat that! Pours a light clear yellow. A bone white fizzy head is produced though it doesn’t stick around long. It never completely goes away though so that’s good. Aroma is surprisingly pleasant clean pilsner malt. Malty with no astringency. Hops are nowhere to be found. Really not bad though. Flavor is super clean, almost nothingness. Ridiculously easy to drink. Really no flavor to speak of, though in a different way than a BMC product as this has absolutely nothing negative about it either. Let’s be honest here, this isn’t really good, but for its style and 79 cents a can I am not upset. CptGreencoat (69), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 20, 2009 Can pours to a crystal clear light amber with a quickly dissipating, fluffy white head. Nose is...dish soap? I drank a beer out of this glass a few minutes ago and didn’t smell that. We’ll call it 6-row soap malt. No hop presence in the nose. It actually has a flavor! I was expecting a another PBR. It is very malty sweet with just enough hops to make it work. This would be a decent stepping stone for BMC drinkers to try something new without scaring them away. It isn’t spectacular by any means, but when the bar is set so low for blue cans, something with more than yellow fizz can be downright shocking. Can’t beat the price, either. 12 cans at $6 ain’t too shabby.
