The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also, very zippy, huge head. Starts fruity-zippy, very fresh, notes of apricot. Finish a bit grasy-sourish, still very fresh. Not bad!

Bottle. Flowery and strange sweet smell, like perfume mixed with some kind of soap. Medium sized white creamy head, rather fast disappearing; pale yellow body. Moderate sweet taste, short duration. Lively carbonation, light body and a dry texture.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty but also with notes of straw. The flavor is sweet malty - again with notes of straw, leading to a bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Clear, golden with a dense, white head. Clean, malty nose. Medium body, lightly sweetish malt and some fruitiness. Dry, lightly bitter finish with light notes of sulphur. 120108

Trade with DerDoppelbock , thanks Sebastian. Bürger Kölsch 4.8% Bottle. [Great two day tasting session @ Papsoe] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking body with a pale yellow color. Spare lacework. Aroma of light grass, hint of cardboard, caramel. Over the palate hint of dusty grain. Light bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Light sweet malt and hint of bitter grassy flavor. Light dry and bitter finish.
