(on bottle, thanx to joss for this one) Dark orange/abricot colour, unclear, no head. Fat/sugarish and alcoholic nose, with hints of butterscotch. The taste is strangely akward tart, like stones of cherry or something. Bit watery mouthfeel and the taste is dominated by an unbalanced alcoholic factor. A real gofer of a yeast-leftover in the bottle.

Dark brown color, light brown head. The nose exudes earthy chocolate notes, while the mouth has a winey fruitiness that is laden with chocolate. The wininess and fruit really come through. The moderately bitter winey chocolately finish is superb. This is my knida dopplebock.

The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel. The color is amber and it has next to no head. The flavor is very sweet with notes of nuts and caramel and the it has a good palate.

Hazy amber beer with a thin disappearing head. Hoppy and nutty and cheesy tones in the aroma. Some sweet fruit also. Bitter hops dominates the flavor with notes of nut, spices and citrus. Nice one!

Tap @ Spuytin Duyvil. Poured a brown color with twinges of red and a nice lasting head. Roasted malt taste that had a bit of toffee and a light bitterness. As good of a dopplebock that I’ve had on tap. Smooth.

Reddish colour. Cloudy. Caramelly aroma, but clean. Sweet, toasty palate with hints of caramel and smoke. Slightly sweet, mainly earthy finish.

Bottled: Reddish coloured. Brownish small head. Malt, berries and fruit in the aroma. Flavour of cocoa, malt and fruits. Alcahol can be tasted, but very vague. Is light watery in the end.

Weak malt aroma, some acidity. Apple. Cloudy brown amber with this off-white lacing head. Medium body with light carbonation. Light malt acidic start, low hop bitterness. Apple juice finish with light chalky after.
