Pours a cloudy reddish/gold, with a huge frothy head. The malt flavors dominate but do not overpower the fruit and hops flavors also present in this brew. I am impressed. underagdCndain (5), Fort mcmurray, Alberta, Canada does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 15, 2005 just a great beer over all got really smashed off this stuff a couple of times its a mug drink large gulps are appropiot for this beer wtih its great taste they could make the bottle look nice if they wanted to help get there name out there shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA

Excellent aroma of crisp malt with yeast, noble hops, fruits and bread. The flavor is crisp, well-balanced with a moderatly bitter finish, the hops and fruity, bready yeast are especially good. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very good. IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA

Sweet aroma of bananas, cinnamon, cloves, and a touch of grass. Taste is slightly sweet and spicy with a touch of a hop bite. Delicious, smooth, and thirst-quenching. One of the finest golden lagers I’ve ever had. zathrus13 (1318), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2005 Hazy dull-orange to almost copper body with a thick, cottony, dusty-white head. Aroma of nuts, fresh bread, tangerine citrus, a hint of toastiness, and subtle Hallertauer notes. Flavor comes across very dry with some tart acidity, a soft peppery quality, and a noticeably bitter finish. Less depth of character than aniticipated. Palate is on the thin and fizzy side. Seems to have dried out in the bottle. Not quite what I hoped for. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany
