Although, the traditional Hell style is filtered, the philosophy at Buergerbrauerei is that beer tastes best when served in its natural state.

Hazy orange color with a large head. Very hoppy and floral aroma. The taste is about the same, but with some orange rind on the finish.

I’m not 100% sure this bottle wasn’t really old because it poured with a Mississippi’s worth of sediment and a huge poofy head. But there was no taste drop-off so I swallowed it whole ... solid malt with a light bitterness, thought this was some good chunky beer.

Light Brown/Yellow Coloring with Big White Frothy Head. Sweet Malt Aroma..Subtle... Heavy Sweet Malt, Light Fruity, Lightly Carbonated and Very Subtle, but Refreshing for that Very Quality.

(on bottle, thanx joss for this one) Unclear orange, big foamy head. Fat, but not too fat vanillanose; could have sworn this was some kind of whaet beer, with all that banana. Has a rounded appel-fresh/carameled taste. Very plesant, mild finish of yeast and a bit of orange.

Pours cloudy and gold with a huge white head. Smell is straw-like. Taste is orangey, tangy and lacking.

Rich, hazy brown-orange, puffy head. Sweet aroma. Smooth and kind of creamy with a citrus (lemony) flavor that rolls around the mouth. Light, but great body thanks to its unfiltered state. Drew was right-the taste is very delicate. I bought it not knowing it was the top dort/hell because it was only $2.70 or so at Sam’s. The best lager I think I’ve ever had.

Herbal nose with some malty apple notes; smooth and full palate with a biscuity flavor, some honey and vanilla; nice
