Bottle (thanx to joss!): Pale golden with a greenish sheen, unclear; bigger loose white head - quickly collapsing and leaving a little lace; lemony-wheaty nose with a yeastytouch; pretty light bodied for a beer of 5.6%, moderate sweetish-sourish flavour; light to medium lemony-sourish finish. Good thirst-quencher.............

draught at Zum Bürgerbräuwirt, Wolnzach. Cloudy orangey-yellow colour, large white head. Fruity nose. Malty, yeasty, wheaty with lovely banan flavours that are not too strong. A well-balanced and easy-drinking Hefeweizen.

Thanks Masn/g2b.dk! It’s a golden, hazy weiss with a huge, nice head. The aroma has notes of clove, wheat and banana. The same goes for the flavour. It’s a full-bodied and uncomplicated weiss.

Bottled (5,6% ABV). A cloudy yellow beer with a big and persistent white head. Cloves aroma with some banana esters. Again cloves in the flavour with light banana and some lemony notes. Very mild bitterness and light bodied for the style. Medium long aftertaste. Not undrinkable but i have had better beers. Maybe I’m too severe with this stuff but this is not my favourite style.

Fully hazy yellow-orange; very fine and creamy, yellowish tinted head. Lemonpeel, banana & bubble gum. Some spiciness: cloves, nutmeg. Very sodden, dull-sweet grainy taste, spiced with cloves and citrus. No bitterness, no acidity. Dull, really. Medium bodied, wheat slickness. Quite disappointing Weisse.

Bottled. Cloudy ochre colour. Small head, fine lacing. Mainly spicy cloves aroma. Of a different quality than the normal cloves aroma of weizen, more like a real dried cloves aroma. Also dominated by spicy notes in the taste. Little banana in the taste. Good body and mouthfeel, but a bit of a letdown in flavour intensity and complexity. Still, a fine and drinkable weizen. Thanks to joss for this one.

Slightly soapy banana aroma. Cloudy yellow, low creamy head. Mellow bannana and vanilla icecream flavors, clove retronansal. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body. Quite pleasant.
