Aroma is a nice mix of roasted malts and dark fruits. Taste is very roasty at the front with a nice and fruity sweetness after that and a surprisingly bitter finish. A bit thin for a stout, but very tasty and slightly spicy on the palate. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England

Pours a dark reddish purple with no head. Aroma of chocolate and fruit. Flavour is really fruity, surprising for a Stout. Tastes of blackberries, roasted malt and coffee. It has a nice bitterness to it as well, it’s quite dry. A little thin and flat for the style. Not great but it is unique and and enjoyable. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Dark brown / red/purple / no head. Slight hints of chocolate and fruit in aroma. Really nice taste of Black Forest Chocolate cake, with emphasis on berries. Lovely sweet taste, balanced. Thin, and I could see how some may dislike, but I thought it kept its stout backbone while bringing something new and unique to the table. Enjoyable!
