Cask at the Ginger Man in Norwalk. Pours gold with a creamy white head and low carbonation. Smells earthy and floral with some appley hints. Tastes tepid, low in carbonation and dry with a nice appley bite on the finish.

Cask, 4.2%. OK fruity aroma. Hazy copper colour. No head. Moldy flavour, some fruit. Quite boring.

Cask (Angleterre, Helsinki)
Deep orange, almost no head. Sweet fruity aroma, estery. Quite full body, but a bit watery and flat. Reasonable back-of-the-mouth bitterness. Hint of mushroom. OK bitterness, but a tad dull.

Cask at the Bridge Inn, Burton. Amber with a creamy head; aroma of stewed vegetables and manure, but not in a bad way; fruity with some honey flavour; short but strong bitter finish.

Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Burton upon Trent. This amber-coloured bitter has a very good balance between sweet malt and bitter hops which is perfectly tasty although not really a standout in any way. It strikes me as a textbook bitter which is pretty good.

Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Burton-On-Trent. A nice aroma of citrus and hops. The flavour is a good balance of zesty lemon and hops with a lovely bitter finish. I did find it too thin, though.
