Cask. Weak fruity aroma. Black colour with a red hue. Frothy light brown head. Green apple flavour, a bit sour. This is a mild ale, not a porter.

Cask conditioned at Charlies. Dark reddish brown coloured. Very fruity aroma. Considerably more fruity than your average English porter, probably because of the damson juice. Sweetish fruity flavour with different berry notes and some maltiness. Some dry bitterness in the finish. Soft mouthfeel. Very pleasant.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy deep red beer with a bubbly brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of cowberries, combined with hints of toffee. The flavor is sweet with a strong berry note combined with some fruit notes and light hop notes, leading to a slightly bitter and dry end with a touch of wood. Very light for a Porter - I can’t find the roasted malt.

Brownish almost black body, smooth easy drinking porter, fruitier than most , thin to medium body, rich chocolate which is not harsh, licorice and a touch of ash.

Cask (London Drinker 06): Dark brown with ruby edge. Nice mild caramel with a choc edge. Fruity afertaste. Interesting, but not all that porter like.

London Drinker Festival 2006. Deep red. Yeasty fruitiness, sweet malt but little actual fruit and not very much like a porter.
