Cask; Special (Gold Medal Ales series) - September 2004.
An amber beer with a slightly reddish hue, smooth with a hint of chocolate from the malt, balanced by lingering after bitterness. Brewed with Target and Fuggles hops.

Dark bronze colour. Very pronounced toffee aroma and flavour. Quite sweet. Although it has some bitter backbone to shore it up, this isn’t really my thing. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall, London.
