Very carbonated, almost as much as a belgian, tried to pour decent amt of the beer, & was rewarded w/an overflow. Of course, this was likely because I’d attempted to pour it into a pint glass. Once I was able to pour the entire bottle, the carbonation settled, & the flavor mellowed considerably.<!-- br --><!-- br --> Similar bitter "bite" at the end like an IPA, but thicker, almost fruity taste/aroma. Persistent frothy head, not <!-- em -->at all<!-- /em --> hoppy like most IPAs.

Clear dark amber/orange with a frothy white head. Perfumy aroma, some citrus, malt, bread. Medium body, slightly watery. Slightly sweet taste, notes of alcohol. Forgettable.

Lovely large off-white head, hazy gold colour. Intense aroma of sweet, musty molasses. Very alcoholic taste, notes of basement or dungeon.

Hazy gold body with a white head. Heavy malts and mollasses in the aroma. Similar qualities in the taste, qualities similar to a liquor. Sharp, sweet ending.

Pint Bottle: Pours a very light hazy beer with a thick fluffy head that sticks around throughout in the shape of awhispy layer on top. Some serious sediments on the bottom, which didn’t look appatizing. The color is orange, brown, straw yellow mixture. Aroma is of fruits, hops, urine, sweet sugary malts, very fruity. Flavor is nice ... the description on the bottle was leading me to belive it was an IPA, but I thought it was far too sweet/malty.

Pours a nice reddish brown color. Aromas of dark fruits, nut, hops, and a touch of wood. Flavor is smooth caramel malt, wood, and a nice hop.

Very large off-white head of fine bubble. Great carbonation keeps a ood sized head even in my chimay glass. The head is quite impressive. Dense and creamy on top. Very strong hoppy aroma. Quite bitter and floral. Some strange aroma in there that I cannot place. Almost like a stinky cheese or a dog kennel. Color is a slightly hazy orange amber. Little metallic and minerally. Good helping of hops and bitterness again. Light malts and body. Little bit of lemon grass and straw. Alcohol is present and gives a nice warming. Flavor is sort of one dimensional though. Finish is bitter with some fruit. A pretty good and hoppy english strong ale.
