Just another variation of a Bud crappy pale lager, but it’s cheaper and therefore almost better than their namesake beers.

Blah. Lousy, but not undrinkable, especially if it’s very cold and the only think around to drink.

You may as well buy cheap malt liquor, although I do have fond memories of hiring a newly-minted 21-year-old to buy a 12-pack of this for me when I was 18, leading to my first alcoholic intoxication, which also led to a lot of headbanging to Pantera that night, which led to two weeks of the sorest neck I’ve ever had, which led to me never drinking this schite ever again. Proper.

Just like its Light brother just not as watered down...not by much though...

Can. Thin yellow no head, slightly grainish waterish piss brew. Cheap but such a waste.

I used to drink this one years ago as a kid. By no means a great beer, but while I’ve had many beers that are much better in my new sampling hobby, I’ve also had many that are worse. Had this over the holidays, poured into an icy cold schooner, served with fried onion rings. Taste and palate were not much, but a smooth, refreshing beer, especially given the price.

Ya know, drinking this always makes me wonder If I’m one of those folks who has a mullet but doesn’t realize or acknowledge it. I might be, even though every hair on my head is less than inch long. That’s because I sort of don’t mind drinking Busch. I love Blues Traveler, and Busch is totally unoffensive to me: it doesn’t taste like much, and doesn’t have the metal taste of Bud. It certainly isn’t what I’d call "good", but it is like my McDonald’s of beers: it’s cheap, and I can usually stomach it. Unlike most people, I can say I like Highlife, though I find Busch to be a strong second in the quest to be the ultimate Cheap-but-not-super-cheapest-boring-domestic-brew- beer. Bad in comparison to many of the beers on Rate Beer, but not as terrible as many people suggest. I’m definitely not wealthy, and Busch is okay when I just want to drink a beer or three watching a baseball game.
