Very light cereal aroma, light dough, minerals. Doesn’t smell more powerful than mineral water, really. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic flavor. Lightly acidic, lightly bitter finish. And I’m being generous with the use of ’lightly’. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. There’s no reason to drink this. Carbonated spring water with a shot of vodka would acheive the same results and taste just as much of nothing. deftonz187 (2), USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Sep 19, 2005 I prefer Busch Beer over any other beer you can find in the bar. Its been around for 50 years because it is absolutely delicious. beerbill (1975), Laurel, New York, USA

I remember back in the 70’s when we couldn’t get Busch in New York, we used to drive to CT for it because it had such a good rep back then. My tastes have obviously changed and I think beer in general has improved dramatically. Pours a light yellow with a white head. Not much aroma to speak of. Taste is mostly cereal. I wonder if A/B has changed the formula in the last 30 years, because this doesn’t taste like the beer I remember. Oh well. collieman (191), montreal, Quebec, Canada

I think, "Hey, I’ve never reviewed a busch!" Now I am looking at the un-opened bottle. IT’s brewed on contract by labat. The label is stained, the bottle is dirty, and the cap is giving me an anoying amount of resistance. Well let’s try this out. Phissst. Aroma is sour corn. That can’t be right. It’s probably spoiled. If it is, feel free to erase this if it is. Pours the clasic pale yellow, perfectly clear slightly yelowish off white head. On to the taste, HEY, it’s not spoiled. Palat is kinda silky low carbonation and a little dry. Taste is actualy lovley. Clean crystal malt dominates, much maltier than most macro-lagers. Corn and grassy hop dominate the rest of the flavour, with undertones of cantaloup, fresh tomato, floral hops, parsley juice, pear and golden corn syrop. Finish is sweet and dry, with aftertaste of fresh corn and bean sprout. Wow, that was lovley. Bottle lasted as long as it took me to write this. I guess from looking at my own words, I would have to say this tastes like a fall harvest. Cheers JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia

Was a lot more malty than I would have expected from a cheap macro. Made me think of schlitz more than anything else. Still its rough, metallic, and missing the carbonated punch of natty and beast.
