Was a lot more malty than I would have expected from a cheap macro. Made me think of schlitz more than anything else. Still its rough, metallic, and missing the carbonated punch of natty and beast. You can buy 30 of these things for like 13 bucks and its actually drinkable if its cold enough. Having said that let’s discuss why this beer will never win any real awards. Busch beer in the glass seems an attractive pale yellow with a nice brite head that stays for a while leaving a thin film on the glass behind. The aroma while not great, isn’t particularly offensive to the nostrils either. Many people complain that the beer has no taste, I don’t see that. To me the beer has a flavor that is rather "full" for an Anheiser ricer. Think of this as Budweiser on a budget. The flavor itself isn’t so bad when the beer is cold, and unlike most anheiser products, Bush beer isn’t noticably different in the bottle, as from the can. This is actually good considering you’ll be buying this product mostly in cans for the 30 pack deal. Although not the prettiest tasting beer by far....not even the prettiest tasting anheiser product, its still a drinkable beer for one hell of a price.
