Pours clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Nose is faint, but some metallic sweet corn can be made. No flavor at all. Possibly a little corn. A little metallic aftertaste. Mostly this resembles water, and kind of quenches your thirst as well. Palidor19 (1772), Brandon, Florida, USA

Skunky taste of carbonation and corn with no flavor to satisfy anything. jtw (942), farmington, Michigan, USA

You really have to try really hard to smell anything and when you do you might get a tiny hint of malt. The appearance is pale gold with a medium head that fades fast. The flavor is closer to water than beer. Much like the aroma you might be able to taste a tiny bit of sweet malt if you try. The palate is like having a glass of water. The only reason this gets any points from me is the lack of offensive tastes. The only real value it has is maybe someone’s first beer. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

I’ve had a lot worse, mostly brewpubs that put nothing less than an abortion of a beer on tap. See... the more ingridients you add to a beer, I believe the worse off it could possibly become. Therefore, if you don’t put a lot into a beer, like Busch NA, I don’t see how it can really taste so damn awful. The Lost Lake I had the other night was worse than this. Now, I’m not saying this is anything great, no way. The nose is still pretty putrid, full of straw, corn, and fuel (butane). Frothy, fizzy, pale, thin, oily, tastes a little bit like celery. Bad, but not the worst. That title belongs to Molson 0.5 and the Groggs beers (all of them). Kinz (2203), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA

Pale fizzy yellow. No aroma. Literally none. Almost no flavor as well, just slight corn. Really better than it is given credit for. Or perhaps my palate was fatigued and I was unable to appreciate the subtle nature of the vileness. Had trouble getting people to try this one. Excellent for rinsing out the glass. Whaleman commented that there was still a drop of the Upstream Barleywine in his glass when he poured the Busch, and the single drop of Upstream came clear through in the aroma. Ultimately, I’ve had far worse, as this wasn’t aggressively bad. There was just literally nothing there. starfireming (309), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 1/20 | Jul 10, 2006 Clear carbonated yellow with a darker tinge than I expected. White head. Skunky aroma with, yes, some dough. Extremely watery palate. Half doughy nothing/half vile taste. I found myself not wanting to swallow. Who drinks this? Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jul 8, 2006 So for the last of my self-immolation where beer is concerned, I’m going to the bottom of the ladder. This is the worst it can get and I know it before I get into it.... I was wrong. God is this stuff horrible, rancid corn aroma with a dark urine colored body. Taste is dull and full of harsh grains that seem to have little claws on them as they go down. Ending is about the only thing here that isn’t down right horrible, instead it’s mildly disgusting.
Next time I get it in my head to hit the swill market again, someone just remind me of this shit.
