Commercial Description:
It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

As Scaldis. Pours a clear medium copper color with a small ivory head. Aroma is of sweet dark fruits and alcohol, also a little cream and butter, but yes, a lot of alcohol in the aroma. Nutty, alcohol-filled flavor with anise and mint towards the end. Somewhat like a doppelbock or eisbock. The alcohol is way too present. Medium viscosity, average mouthfeel. Not well done. Overall, fair plus.

Tap at Delirium Café, Brussels. Dark, brownish olor. The foam was very creamy and thick. Sweet aroma with a lot of malt, brown sugar, syrup and spices. The flavor contained some cherries, apples, candy, soap, and yeast. Strong taste of alcohol, the beer seemed not optimally balanced.

Rich amber color; Medium slightly creamy body; Light carbonation; Aroma of sweet hops, brown sugar & spice; Flavor of sweet malt, spice, some fruit & a hint of caramel; Alcohol at the finish - though, not overpowering considering the alcohol content; Almost tastes like a cognac; I do like this one.
