Thanks to brewblackhole. Dark color. Smell of caramel, fruit, oak/wood, vanilia, brown sugar and malt. Taste of malt, rasins, prunes, vanillia, alcohol, caramel, spice, honey and minor coco. What a great ale!

New years gift from Louis. Brilliant beer. Caramel, chocolate, raisin, plum, sweet, oak. Rich bodied and wonderfully smooth. Insanely drinkable and quiet damaging at 13% considering the ease the swallows go down!

Monster foamy head coming out of the bottle which i proceeded to pour into a duvel glass. The foam then lasted in the glass for a good 10 minutes before it died enough to let me at the beer without getting foam nose. Anyway, it was worth the wait. Caramel, oak, vanilla nose. Flavor was spectacular. Well balanced sweet sugar and maltiness, with notes of honey, caramel, light raisin, oak and vanilla. Tart and spicy at first with a velvety silkiness at the end. Unbelievably easy to drink. One of my new favorites.

Thanks to Brewblackhole for sharing this one! Pours a cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aromas of alcohol and fruity yeast. Smooth as silk butterscoth and vanilla flavors dominate this one. The aftertaste of butterscoth is wonderful!
