We bought this bad boy by mistake. Don’t get me wrong its very good, but not for the price.
It pours an gold with a hint of orange and fluffy white head.
It smells sweet with hints of orange, and caramel.
The flavor is vanilla and orange and bourbon.

Jun 19, 2009 Bottle. Wow what a price tag here, glad to have shared the bottle. Pours a mahogany body with a thin lacing of bubbles. Nice whiskey notes, vanilla, and dark fruit. Woody with a molasses and maple sweetness. Great brew. Just a bit much for the $ tag.

Jun 16, 2009 Bottle. Fruit, malt, yeast and spice aroma. Hazy deep golden color with a white head. Sweet full and strong malt body with pleasant notes of alcohol and fruits. Very nice warm alcohol palate. Nice.

Jun 15, 2009 The taste of this beer is unlike anything, ive ever had. Since it is stored in Bourbon barrels, the taste of bourbon is primary and overpowering from the rest of the flavors. Got the malts and dark fruit flavors make this a once in the life time beer. Almost worth the full price to buy, but still worth a try

Cloudy amber body with a off white head and nice lacings.
Aroma is raisins, prunes, wood, alcohol and hints of yeast.
Flavour is raisins, prunes and alcohol, with weak notes of caramel, leaving a long vinous and delicious aftertaste.
Great brew but expensive.

May 28, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy amber body with a longlasting white head. Caramel, oak, dark fruit and a slight sour touch in aroma. Flavour is lots of dark ripe fruit, caramel, light alcohol, oak and vanilla. Very complex. Creamy texture. Lovely beer!

May 2, 2009 I thought this beer sucked. Rust colored pour, with lots of butterscotch in the aroma. The brew is really lively--and the carbonation is way too high for my liking. The taste is really malty, but the butterscotch flavor comes on seriously strong in the dry finish. $45 a bottle here in Ohio, and I wouldn’t drink this again if it were $5.
