Slow gushing to huge fluffy off-white head, over orange-tinted beer, suspended with mini-UFO’s. Alcohol, white candi sugar, caramel, <i> honingbollen </i>. Very alcoholic taste, sweetness very outspoken, both sugars & alcohol. Caramel, very childrens’ sweets.-like. Sweeter than the 33cl version? Retronasal something like rice, and resinous. Alcohol prominent, thick texture and yeasty feel in the mouth. A bit disappointing - maybe a bit of lagering would do it a world of good - until it explodes?
