Clear amber color, small white head. Hops, which smell like a glue, in the nose. Flavor has toffee, apples and then some fruity hops in the finish. Fruity mess, a bit odd flavor for a bitter.

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jun 2, 2008 [On gravity cask at beer festival at The Retreat, Reading] Mid brown coloured. Deep malty, yeasty, earthy, almost eggy homebrew flavours which somehow made me feel slightly ill and reminded me of Wells Bombadier. Really didn’t enjoy this one, but I can see that some might.
