I would like to think this was "skunked", but I know it was not. That’s the way it tastes. If you are reading this, its probably too late, becaus you know what I am talking about. Medium gold pour with minimal white head that fades quickly. Aroma of pale grainy malt, slight hopcitrus and honey. Fairly good palate heft and complexity, that had mid-palate apricots soaked in high fructose corn syrup flavors, plus finishing hopcitrus, and a decent pale malt taste throughout. No off flavors or aromas noted. Not bad for a pale lager. iowaherkeye (1876), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 9, 2007 Bonus from Dickinsonbeer, thanks Paul! Pours a clear pale golden with a quickly fading one finger white head. Aroma of grain with hints of honey and grassy hops. Flavor has some sweet malts and is even a slight bit buttery. There is a little bit of grass, paper, and grain as well, but nothing offensive. Semidry finish, minimal bitterness. Moderate carbonation with a thin body, but that seems pretty average for a pale lager. Not bad for a pale lager, which isn’t necessarily saying too much. The label kinda makes me laugh though. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 8, 2007 12 oz bottle via Dickinsonbeer (thanks!). Pours a clear golden blonde with a tiny white head. Not much in the nose here, some toasted grains perhaps and some English hops. Taste is not bad, actually tastes like a lager instead of a pale ale. Is pretty sweet, with lots of caramel, some toasted grains, and some earthy/grassy hops in the finish. Light body. moderate carbonation. A nice refreshing backyard lawn mower type beer....hmm now that i have posted the rating, i see this is a lager. yet the label on the bottle says Ale...it tasts like a lager, so assume that is correct. As a Pale LAger, it is actually pretty good. Much better than any of the BMC stuff out there... Rballs01 (264), Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, USA

Make a funny label see how much sells then discontinue the brand. Tasted watery smell like ass and is all together stupid! Must have some skilled brewers over there. I Didn’t spend a dime on it and no one else should. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA

It has a nice deep gold color and works a fine head. The aroma makes well with the hop flavors. No complaints! guzzler67 (1286), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 19, 2007 Light yellow appearance with a small, white head. Grainy, vegatal aroma. Moderately sweet, bland, inoffensive taste. Light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a crisp, short lived finish. LinusStick (1852), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 7, 2006 Not a very good beer, but not a bad pale lager. I admit I got this because of the name and the label. This is a perfect example of not being able to judge a book (or beer) by its cover. Poured a fizzy yellow with no head. Smell of wheat. Taste is just like any other pale lager-no better no worse but more metallic than your typical PL. This bottle will make a fine addition to my collection, but the beer can go climb a tree :)
