| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Nov 24, 2006 Bottle... GBOA ’06... Clear straw-colored ale with a mid-sized, foamy, white head. Good retention. Cereal grain and peppercorn aroma. The flavor is unoffensive and refreshing, much like seltzer water. Just a touch on the sweet side of balance. Extremely light-bodied and spritzy. Crisp, mildly sweet finish. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 15, 2007 Thanks to Dickinsonbeer for this via Mystery Swap 2.0. Medium gold pour with minimal white head that fades quickly. Aroma of pale grainy malt, slight hopcitrus and honey. Fairly good palate heft and complexity, that had mid-palate apricots soaked in high fructose corn syrup flavors, plus finishing hopcitrus, and a decent pale malt taste throughout. No off flavors or aromas noted. Not bad for a pale lager. goldtwins (4086), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 18, 2006 I have had this rating in my note book for many months because I was too ashamed to add the beer to the database. Since it is in there now I’ll add the rating. Poured a crystal clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of cheap sweet malt with some grainy notes. Mild bitterness on the finish. Light body with a thin finish. Rciesla (3880), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 4, 2006 Thanks Goldtwins, I think... Clear yellow color with a decent head that rapidly falls apart. Dry honey aroma. Kind of a metallic taste with some muddled grains in the background. Not nearly as bad as what I thought it would be. Aubrey (2782), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 5, 2007 Bought this because of the name at Lee’s in Las Vegas (Henderson, actually). Light golden with a bright white head. Soft, light body. Sweet malts, like sweetened bread. Mild hop presence; boring and flat; slightly herbal and earthy; only mildly bitter. Not much to this one beyond the funny name. Nate (2572), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Nov 12, 2006 Dull metallic hoppy tang, kind of musty, with very little to offer other than the typical beany, drab aroma of most pale lagers brewed in North America. Dull golden yellow, with very little head that dissipates quickly. Thin watery body with mild carbonation. Not a bad taste to it, but just not much of it. Light sweetness of grain, with a lot of carbonic fizziness that masquerades as a flavor. Mild smooth hoppiness, with little bitterness or any other character. Finish is dull with almost no aftertaste. This beer ticked me off for two reasons. First, it has such a cool label that I was expecting at least a little something behind it, like I don’t know, the second thing that ticked me off: the fact that it’s a crappy pale lager when it’s labeled as an ale. Don’t waste your time with this one.
