| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 7, 2007 The aroma is sweet cranberry. Or it is cranberry and raspberry. It is sweet berry. A luminescent apricot amber color with a decent white head. Starts berry sweet, and a bit thin. The bitter cranberry competes with what might be hop. In the event it finishes interestingly bitter. Not an ideal match for hot salsa. My bad. It’s really good though. So I am off the average - way off. My good. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 3, 2007 22 oz. bottle from BevMo. Pours a bright reddish amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is primarily of sweet malts, with tart cranberries and floral hoppiness also evident. Flavor seems like a decent amber - toasty and litghtly caramelly malts with tart fruits and a bit of spice in the hop finish. Medium body and gentle carbonation. A drinkable holiday ale, but not outstanding in any way. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2006 Pours red with a decent white head. Aroma has some cranberry, too bad the taste does not. Mostly a watered-down pale with some earthiness. Disappointed. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2006 Pours an attractive red color with a thick and fluffy white head. Aroma hints at cranberry and not much else. What you have here is a basic pale ale with hints of cranberry that’s enjoyable enough to drink. Sort of yeasty flavor in the background. Nothing exceptional but not a bad drink. unclemattie (2439), Georgia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 4, 2006 22oz Bottle: Amber mahogany color, light ruby notes. The nose is a bit fruity but comes across more as just a slightly infected amber with that green apple nose, but you can tell it’s a light fruit. The flavor is a bit malty with an average body. Not that great of a base beer let alone adding fruit to it. It’s like the same concept as giving you potpouri spray for after a deuce. You’re just mixing something with something already bad, so it’s worse.
