Hazy orange color with a small white head. Cranberry and pine aroma, with a little honey as it warms. Mild malt, pine and honey flavors. Medium feel with a slightly dry ash finish.

Cloudy orange/brown color with a small, sopay head. The aroma was faint...some pine, cranberries, and lemon. The flavor was pretty bland...cranberries, pine, and some earthiness in the aftertaste. The feel was a little too thin and not crisp enough...a little slimy.

Medium brown color, tints of cranberry, slightly cloudy. Small to no head. Aroma is cranberries (DUH!), fruitcake and spices. A medium bodied ale/fruit beer. The cranberry flavor is more in the nose and aftertaste than in body of the beer. It has a nice malt backbone and some hop kick to go with all that cranberry flavor, As it warms it picks up a nice fruit tartness and the flavor mellow and smoothes. An interesting beer, if you don’t object to cranberries. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a distinct cranberry flavor.

Bottle, Portland, summer 2004. Head is initially large, frothy, off-white, fully lasting. Body is hazy medium amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of plum, fruitcake/candy, orange peel. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. I rather liked this, actually...quite a looker, and has a pleasant aroma and flavor balance. Not all that rich, but we’re not talking about an Imperial stout here.

Hazy amber with a small white head. Cranbverry and lemon aroma offset by some pine. The falvor is quite sprucey, think liquid chistmas tree. The fruits are still there but the spruce is strong. medium bodied. Not sure about this one.,

RBSG 2004: Orange red with tiny particles. Lemon, pine needles and cranberries make up the nose, flavor is sweet, body medium. Nice too try, I doubt that I could drink a whole bottle.
