harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Aug 6, 2006 Decent, with alot of upfront yeastiness, a big puffy white head and a hint of cloudy haze in the golden pour. Smooth and creamy with a nice bitter bite in the finish. Defeinitely one of the best things ever to come out of Butte Creek and exceptionally good for an American style wheat.
gsmitty80 (494), Washington DC, USA Oct 12, 2007 I remember the clean crisp taste of water to it but all joking aside it was very nice. Better with a lemon. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/12/1997

light spicy fruity clove aroma, good amount of hop flavor, light bitterness in the finish, a cross between a wheat and a pale ale

SSSteve (1443), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jan 28, 2007 the six pack looks like its been sitting on the shelf for about 5 years. slightly hazy gold with a huge creamy white head. very hoppy aroma. flavor is hoppy(flowery) as well. no banana notes. more like a pale ale to me. shendrix (426), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Nov 13, 2006 A light golden color with just a tad of cloudiness, this is forgiving to the palate but no hefeweizen. Tastes lightly of vanilla with a bit of lemon zest thrown in. A bit hoppy for a wheat beer. A good credible brew, but nothing to get worked up over. Cornfield (4245), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Aug 23, 2006 According to the descriptions, this has aspirations towards being a hefeweizen. In reality, it’s a mediocre American wheat, clear golden in body with a modest white head. It smells of Wheaties witha very slight hint of banana and a light zest of lemon tartness. The wheat remains in the flavor and the banana is lost. The lemon zest turns into a bitterness that lasts into the finish.
