Bottle. Pours kind of dark for a pale ale, almost reddish, with a big white head. Grapefruit is up front in the nose, but not a whole lot of bitterness is present. Grains, citrus, and weeds are suggested. The flavor is pretty decent, but nothing impressive. I was hoping for a deeper, more complex hop quality. Standard grapefruity notes are here with mild bitterness and light herbal tones. This is all right. I thought it was an American pale while I was drinking it.

Poured a clear orange copper color with a small off-white head. Hint of citrus and floral hops. Somewhat earthy as well. Nutty malt. Earthy and floral malt flavor. Light to medium body.

Deep amber colour. The aroma is fairly nasty smelling. Nutty and slightly oxidized rancid maltiness. A touch of herbal dusty flavour. Oily and cheesy smelling. Wet dank hoppiness. Hoppy, but lacking in any great character. Meh.

Bottle: Copper pour with a thin off white head. Aroma doesn’t have much hop depth. Seems plasticy with a grainy malt presence. The hops seemed restrained overall, with a grainy, slightly metallic malt element. Stuff didn’t work for me.

Compared to other harvests, this one is very malty. And yet, it’s beautiful. Very smooth on the palate and a well-ballanced hop-to-malt flavor. If it weren’t a harvest it might be too malty but this one is really well calculated.

Bottle Copper color with an off-white head. Caramel aroma with grass and earth. Thank god the flavor is better than the aroma. Slight citrus/pine flavor with caramel and grass. Medium body - maybe a little light. LIngering citrus/pine, caramel and grass. Nothing too bitter, but a decent hop flavor and enough bitterness.

Bottle. Amazing amber color, very light white head, with a very subdued hop flavor. I really enjoyed this, but its one of the lighter of the IPA style.
