hazy light gold/yellow with small bubbly head. Minor clove and banana aroma. Flavors of sweet wheat initially - american wheat flavor but lighter. Secondary flavors include clove, yeast, and banana, but all in a lighter complimentary style. There is also some minor metallic flavor. This beer is pretty light in body, has moderate spritzy carbonation, and is very refreshing. Pretty nice. I would argue that this is a German Hefeweizen though.

btl by Springlicker. Straw hazed yellow pour with a bubbly white head and lace. Clove citrus and wheat on the nose. Papery, thick wheat, with a medium bitter. Watery with light carbonation. An unusual pre bitter taste but a nice bitter. Would be safe to say a beer that lacks character. Not bad but missing something

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a lemon yellow with a nice fat white head and good lacing. Nose of citrus hops, yeast, and spices, with clove more noticeable. Mouthfeel is a bit think but is clean and smooth. Flavor is mild, but of wheat, and citrus, with hint of fruit. Finish is ever so slightly bitter. This is apparently brewed in the spirit of a German hefe, and is comparable to that style. Refreshing to drink.

Filled a glass with a straw yellow pale clouded body. No head after a moment. Rich grainy textures with the characteristic Bavarian banana notes. Bready and wholesome. Finished nicely and quite smooth. This beer crushes Widmer’s hefe.

Bottle from Ray’s Liquor in Chico. Aroma is light banana, light spice, light noble hop, light pale malt. Slightly hazy light gold color with a white head that didn’t wholly arrive. Thinnish in body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is banana, wheat, followed by lemon notes that just come out of nowhere. The finish is dry, slightly citric, with some wheatishness. Crisp and refreshing.

Very nice looking wheat, with a thick cloudy body and champagne-like head. Comes across very spicy to begin, but then mellows into fruitiness. Definitely on the thin side, especially in the mouthfeel. Won’t ever threaten the top notch, but not bad.
