No malt presence and very little hop profile in the aroma or the flavor. What was in the flavor was off and unpleasant. There was a pungent citrus and grapefruit flavor that was thin and veiled. The aroma had a bit of citrus, grass, and straw. Poured a pretty faint yellow color. doboy (177), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 24, 2008 Last beer of the night with friends. Light mouth feel followed the nice aroma. I expected more on the palate. Where’s the Hops? Head disappeared way too fast. This was a drinkable beer but leaves no lasting impressions! DrBayern (1135), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA

Aroma - Lightly fruity and floral, some underlying honey.
Appearance - Light amber with a foamy, quickly collapsing white head.
Flavor - gentle;e sweetness that is non -descript, a soft bitterness trails into a barely dry finish that has a hint of soapiness.
Palate - Light to medium body and carbonation, a bit watery and lacking definition.
Not much here. A rather plain, simple beer that jusdt fails to arouse much emotion. gotohelunc (473), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Bomber. Nice golden color with no head or lacing. Smells of sour corn. Tastes remind me of dough, honey, and only a touch of hops. Not a lot of anything going on here. Finishes pretty clean, although not very crisp or refreshing. Eh. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Clear orange, moderate head with some lacing and retention. Light aroma with traces of grapefruit. Some grass, butterscotch and caramel present. Bland at best. hopscotch (5476), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Bottle... Clear, deep golden ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. The sweet, floral aroma offers wild flower and clover honeys and black tea with a hint of English biscuit malt. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Great balance provided by moderate, black tea bitterness alongside pale malt sweetness. Lengthy clover and straw finish. Underrated, I think. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 24, 2007 Nose of cardboard and mild soapy hops. Some herbal grass and nuts on the palate. nearbeer (1834), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 23, 2007 500 ml. Clear, shiny orange-copper with a small head that tries to last. Aroma is spicy herbs and dried cedar. Flavor is fruity-spicy dry grains, toasted nut, and some dried, split wood that keeps making me think of cedar. Citrus-cocoa-resin aftertaste is nice. Palate is light-medium, smooth and dry-tingly. I think this unique, quality brew would fare well in the ESB category, as it seems to have some of the better style characteristics.
