Somewhat watery. Some caramel and orange flavors but very light. Easy drinking, goes down quickly. Too light on taste - not very hoppy for a ’extra pale ale’. Odeed (1675), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 17, 2005 Hazy amber body is topped by a short-lived , small white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy and a touch of malt. The malt in the flavor tastes like italian or french bread crusts. The hops are a supporting role, but the whole thing is a bit thin and watery. Slightly hazed orange-amber color with a off-white head that rapidly diminished. Furity peach and orange aroma with pleasant floral hop notes - this was as good as it got. Flavor was unremarkable and inoffensive - not necessarily high praise I know - a little watery, slightly sweet toasty malts, orange and a hint of herbal hops. Light body and gentle carbonation. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 17, 2005 (22 oz bottle: $2.79 at Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) Starts of pouring a dark golden color, fully clear in appearance, and topped by a small, off-white head that quickly fades to a small rim. The sweet nose is mostly grain and corn, perhaps some honey. It’s a bit musty and fairly light overall, but decent enough. Unfortunately, the beer smells better than it tastes. In fact, there really isn’t a lot of flavor. It’s mildly sweet and grainy, with some light caramel. Despite a light bitterness, there’s no discernable hops in the flavor. The finish rapidly drops off into oblivion. Light-to-medium body, but the finish turns rather watery. Just not enough character to even to a good session beer. Very ho-hum. Soapy hop aroma, mildly lemony citrus. Fairly thin on the palate, mild biscuity undertones, lemony citrus, mildly pineapple juice, soft citrus bite in the finish. Drinkable, decent enough refresher but pretty insignificant. regal (23), Ringgold,Ga., USA
