| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 17, 2006 Pours golden with a thin beige head and floating autolized yeast. Damn, another old bottle from Jax. This is the <!-- i -->last<!-- /i --> time I buy beer there. Aroma is toasted malt, honey, toffee, and apricot. Taste is sweet, lightly toasted, with some fruity esters of melon, apples, and apricots. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a bitter finish and lively carbonation. If this was a fresh bottle, it would have rated higher, still not a bad beer. da845 (139), new york, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 27, 2006 No real strong smell, but not bad. Is an amber that is very cloudy with a very small almost non existant head. A light bitter taste. Is thick and creamy. Overall a decent beer. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 27, 2006 Amber body with a small head. Aroma was light fruit, some grass, some bread. Flavor is the same, it avoided being watery but it was far from interesting or complex. Likeburning (149), Franklin, Tennessee, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Mar 13, 2006 The light amber color is very lager-ish and very heavily carbonated. The aroma is soapy and skunky with a bit of hopps. The flavor is tart and kind of tasted more roaseted like a porter than expected. The body was also very sharp due to the fizz. (Maybe I got a bad one) OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 24, 2006 12oz bottle pours amber with a dirty white head that didn’t stay long. Aroma is of orange, grains, caramel and spice. Flavor is very similar but rather lackluster. The palate was medium bodied but somewhat to the watery side. Pretty Average all around.. csbosox (1085), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 13, 2006 12oz bottle, part of a mix a six. Served in my NB worthy snifter. Orange/gold color with a small, off white head. Aroma is caramel and mild spicy hops. The taste is sweet caramel up front followed by some nice fruitiness and a mildly earthy, mildly citrus finish. This is actually not too bad. Not a lot of flavor, but the flavor is nice. Would be a nice summer beer. Cable (286), SE, Oklahoma, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 5, 2006 Sampled from bottle. Pours cloudy orange-copper with a creamy, off-white head and frothy lacing. Aroma is mild and spicy. Its flavor is slighly bitter and hoppy (pine & spice). Bitterness lingers. Medium-bodied and moderately carbonated. Not too complex, but easy to drink and quite refreshing. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 1, 2006 What else is there to say about this one, then what has already. A very typical, somewhat average run of the mill beer. Pours a light colored amber when held up to the light. Some sweet toffe maltiness, black tea, and some bitter orange fruitiness. Some light hoppiness.
