Dec 12, 2007 this beer is not that good. It remind me of a English IPA but hoppier. It’s too sweet and too light. It’s aroma is alomst sour and it’s finish is malty than an off bitter. leaving a poor almost metalic flavor in your mouth. Add one point overall for alc. content.

Nov 27, 2007 huge crusty fluff pour lots of carbo. Nose is mild hop, floral, and somewhat citrus. Taste hits with almost a bitter, hoppy Belgian strong ale. strange banana notes, some bread, and when warmed has a malty semi sweet. Bitter is substantial and hops are almost ass kicking, but strangely subdued. not a bad brew though. warming.

Aroma: Citrus smelling hops with a biscuity smell.
Appearance: Poured a hazy golden color with a small head which faded quickly and left little lacing on the glass.
Flavor: A mixture of slight sweetness mixed with some citrusy hops.
Palate: Has a very strange finish, which is hoppy and sweet yet somewhat dry.
Overall: Being a hop lover I would have liked more hops, especially in the finish. Not a bad beer, but I don’t think I would buy this again.

Nov 20, 2007 12oz bottle as part of world market 10 pack.. slightly gibbis amber color with darkened head.. the aroma is ever present with hint of spice and caramel hoppyness.. the initial hit to the palate is a short lived sweetness but quickly overcome by the bitternes of the hop/malt mentage.. the taste is neither smooth nor fierce but uncharateristically average for an IPA.. the aftertaste leaves me wondering if they tried too hard to bitter it down..

Nov 2, 2007 Bottle courtesy of CBA: Poured a medium amber color ale with a big foamy head with good retention but no lacing. Aroma of bitter hops with some caramel malt notes. Taste is also dominated by some bitter hoppy notes with a nice caramel malt profile. Medium body with some good carbonation. Nothing extraordinary but a well done beer as per style guideline.

Oct 30, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours light amber with a good size white head. Aroma of caramel, citus, and hops. The flavor is slightly sweet caramel upfront, citrus, and a piney bitter finish. Not a bad brew.
