Aroma of caramel, citus, and hops. The flavor is slightly sweet caramel upfront, citrus, and a piney bitter finish. Not a bad brew. JLAudio (282), Crestwood, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Strange pour on this subtle copper beer. Literally zero head formed...not good. It smelled somewhat citrusy and floral. It tasted slightly better than it looked, it had a nice core of maltiness, somewhat sweet and caramely, which leaded to a citrusy hop finish. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2007 mild hop nose, gold/orange body, decent white head, bold malt flavor ballanced with tangy citrus flavored hops, fruity and delightful, mild, not overly bitter but well ballanced and refined, bitter finish, refreshing Earlier Rating: 4/3/2005 Total Score: 3.6 If you told me that you were at a party and someone told you that AlabastorJones loves the heady organics I would tell you that you had not been lied to, and this bottle of hippie sweat infused ipa is no exception, its creamy white head laces a little over the mirky dark golden body, pungent hop aroma, richly deliciouse mouthfeel, dry roast on the back of the throat on the finish, bitters and malts are very well balanced, this just may be my favorite organic brew thus far, but then again it may not be, because i am after all about as spaced out as the fuckin hippies that brewed this henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 6, 2007 The 22 ounce bottle poured a lightly cloudy amber colored beverage with an average sized frothy off-white head that was mostly diminishing but left fair lacing on the glass. The aroma was well balanced for the style having just a slight malt presence in the form of notes of hay. The hops were fairly heavy with both floral and citrus notes being present. It had a medium body with lively carbonation and a somewhat thin, watery texture. The flavor started out somewhat sweet but quickly turned bitter and at the end of the average length finish was still quite bitter. agl108 (509), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 26, 2007 12 oz. bottle. I tried my first IPA recently and I thought this was a really good beer. Excellent flavor and very refreshing! I’ll be buying more of this one. truegen (165), Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 21, 2007 12oz. bottle. Sharp copper color with a rocky foam head. Delicate citrus/pine aroma, mostly grapefruit. Grapefruit carries through to the taste, but both malts and hops seem to lack backbone. There’s not really a prominent characteristic of this ale, other than slightly amped alcohol. That’s fine, if there’s something for it to stand on. I didn’t find the foundation for the alcohol in this beer. And please, don’t go down the "oh, but it’s organic" road. There are some outstanding organic brews out there, and some pretty craptastic non-organic beers. This one’s kind of in between to me. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 17, 2007 Pours a slightly hazy orange with an orange-cream head that collapses rapidly but leaves some blobby lace behind. Aromas of citrus, resin, and ripe peaches. Big hop load balanced by quality sweet malts. A very nice PA.
