I really enjoy this IPA, very good balance between the sweet caramel flavors and the pine/citrus hops. Never feeling to bitter, and the high ABV make for one solid IPA. Slight earthy woody flavors to the hops. Pours rich amber with a strong white head.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus and floral hops with lots of caramel and sweet malts. Has a strange aroma I can’t quite put my finger on. Flavor was lighter then I thought it would be with plenty of floral hops. The malts don’t seem to blend well in this brew. A little too light on the palate then I would like in an IPA. This brew is okay but nothing special.

SImple and nice - heavy heavy malt with a pleasant hop essence. Somewhat sour aftertaste. Woody citrus notes with a silky, although, thin body.

Amber, cloudy appearance. Weak malt aroma. Good lingering bitter finish. Thin body.

Definintely an inoffensive beer. That is about the best thing I can say about it. The malting is well-balanced, and has a decent hop finish, but overall I was disappointed in how everything came together.

i was hoping this gonna be west coast when i spoke to the liqour store guy and he said this was good but a little hoppy for him. i was sorely dissapointed. this tastes like fat tire with some extra hops in it. its not awful but hardly what i was looking for.

(Bottle) Organic beer blind tasting at Brouwers’s in Seattle, March 3, 2007. Orange amber body with a lasting white head. Nose of acetone, slightly sulfur. Rubber-neckedly bad. Flavour has strong hops but is all in the wrong place.

Good thick head, smells of lemon and hops. Tastes of sweet grassy hops. Tastey.
