Amber, with a ridiculous head. This filled my pint glass with 1 inch of beer and 8 inches of head. When it finally settled down, the head still took 2/3 of the glass. Still can’t fit the remaining 4 ounces in the glass. Pretty bitter aroma. Tastes like perfume, and I like IPA’s and double IPA’s. Way too much on the hops.

Swirling murk of buffed orangey-rose sits under a tight scouring pad of grey ice for the head. Aroma’s got meat to it – aged watermelon and orange rind, marmalade coated on hard rolls, a touch of sourdough heels and a citric pulp made into greasy butter. Sweet mango and papaya lie aromatically stranded in the middle of a harvested wheat field. Modest flavor gives a waxy orange crème / buttered toffee character. Restrained carbonation lets the citric candy become one with its dried and now hardened caramel shell. A supporting marmalade maple syrup melds concretely towards a new, experimental Nestle candy ball creation. Rustic hop quotients with aged tropical fruit flavor ambitions reminisce of licking cascade and hallertrau off of abandoned orange peels. Medium-bodied, with a heavy, glossy feel to the liquid. The hidden carbonation holds it back from additional positive progress slightly. Ginger marmalade and orange blossom honey over hard rolls plays through the finish.

Organic is OK with me, but ......taste is more. Dark orangish amber color. Very thin head, cream off white. great lacing. Aroma.... kinda malty Don’t know how old this is, new to me, but coulda been a box for awhile... not much hop smell at all. First sip, nice and hoppy [not nearly like the gen X imperial from them]. After several sips, funny "off" taste appears, but still nice bitter aftertaste... OK IPA, but i may be jaded by so many wonderful DIPA’s and Imperials I’ve had lately

I received a few bottles of this from my uncle-in-law in California. Tasted with OhioGuzzler. I think this is the first organic beer I have had... Hazy orange copper color with lively carbonation and an offwhite crown. Aroma fruity like apples. Flavor quite bitter up front and then has a bit of an alcohol bite. Some nutty caramel flavor in the finish. Palate is fairly thick and chewy. Some citrus aroma and flavor with maybe a touch of sweetness would make this beer really good. Over all I enjoyed this beer and am thankful to my uncle for sending it my way to try. 12 oz bottle (7.1% alcohol), gift.

Medium maltiness but lacking in the citrus and floral characters of the great IPAs. Hop bitterness is decent but not all that well balanced with the rest of the beer.

Pours orange with a short lasting off white head. Pretty hazy for a filtered beer. Aroma very good, but has an aftertaste that is very astringens. A lingering bitterness that stays on the tongue. Less bittering hops, and lots more flavor and aroma hops would benefit this beer.

Small white head with hazy amber body, very little lacing. Heavy toasted malt aromas with a hint of vanilla and average alcohol. Full creamy body with mild carbonation and harshly bitter finish that lasts and lasts. Almost no sweetness to balance it out.

Not a bad IPA, but nothing out of the ordinary. The pour is a nice golden color with a decent head. The aroma is of mostly pine hops. Flavor was nicely hopped and a decent malt backbone was present. I thought the taste was just a little off for some reason, but couldn’t figure out what it was...
