| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 23, 2006 Bottle. Small ivory head that mostly diminished with poor lacing, hazy, carbonated, and an orange hue. Nose was hoppy, sweet, caramel, and somewhat earthy and/or musty. Flavor was hoppy, dry, malty and caramel. Mouthfeel was somewhat on the dry side. Medium body. An unbalanced IPA IMO. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 1, 2006 Enjoyable if nothing else, this would make a nice session IPA. Something to keep in the fridge, because it is different everytime you taste it. I drank 3 bottles out of a six pack, and they were all in consistent, maybe its just me? Some nice spicy orange rind hoppiness, a decent malt character to back it up. Nothing stand out, but it is just easy to drink, and finishes quite smooth. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 15, 2006 Pours a nice copper orange with thin froth head that fizzles out. Nose is slightly hoppy but mostly sweet pale malts. Flavor is hoppy with rich malt backbone. My only problem with this beer is consistincy, I’ve really hoppy bottles and really bland bottles out of the same box. So if at first it’s not hoppy drink again. TheBeerOrg (1589), Kentucky, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 14, 2006 Pours dark orangish with thin, fully receding off-white head. Aroma of flowery citrus hops (likely English) and sweet caramel malt. Taste is sweet and malty but dominated by the orange, citrus hop flavors tending towards a bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with soft carbonation. This beer needs a bit more focus. SoLan (1427), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 14, 2006 Updated: Jan 26, 2008Clear, dark bronze. Small, creamy, light tan head. Pungent, resinous hops smelled from a foot away. Spicy and piney up close with some malt. Bitter hops with same flavors, slightly roasty malt, subtle caramel, a touch of sweetness. Medium body. Crisp piney finish. Nice carbonation level. Underrated at 3.1. Very nice IPA. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 7, 2006 Rather nondescript slightly cloudy orange, barely there head. Faintly spicy aroma. Much more hop bite than expected, but that may have more to do with my expectations than anything. Finishes with an earthy, peppery bite. bu11zeye (5635), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 6, 2006 (Bottle) Pours a lightly hazy copper body with a small white head. Interesting aroma of toasted wheat bread, florals, peas, and blueberries. Flavor of mild hops and malt with a dry, bitter finish. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2006 Unimpressive hoppy aroma. Some floral and spice hints, and some buttered scones. Medium hop flavors are perfumy, with a fair caramel malt body. There’s a weird husky quality to the palate, drying around the edges of the mouth, almost chalky in mouthfeel. Minerally. Really a pale ale, or at least an 1990’s era British style IPA. Hazy amber color with a decent head and fair lacing.
