Hazy color in between copper and amber. Smallish head that is fairly short lived. The aroma is an interesting hop (since it’s organic it may be those unique New Zealand hops I’ve been wondering about). Orangey and a bit of soft berry like a cross between raspberry and blackberry. The body is a decent malt, but seems a bit too sweet. Nice lingering bitterness. Really not a bad beer at all. Not exactly the typical IPA, though.

An orange appearance with an orange and grapefruit aroma. The flavor was somewhat bitter with more grapefruits and oranges abound. The palate is a bit thin but overall this was a nice beer.

This beer pours an ambery color with a thin soapy white head and relatively no lacing. Aroma smells like pure orange tang mixed in with earthy grass tones and weed...generally pleasant. Orangey tang in mid-sip followed by a not overwhelmingly bitter finish. Full flavored and crisp, dry finish. Malty earthy tones in mid sip...definitely some grass, plenty of stinky tang. Mild levels of carbonation and silky mouthfeel. Highly underrated beer.

This one just became available in my area. Pours a nice brassy copper with a lasting head. Decent hoppines but the flavor has a pronounced grassiness to it. Finishes somewhat bitter and acidic.

Not bad for one of these organic beers. But still has a weird grassy flavor that seems to be common. As an IPA, let alone a super charged one at 7.1%, this is pretty weak.

Some real interesting aromatic ’side’ notes for an IPA. Hints of freshly juiced lime, orange and grapefruit are light and crisp. The floral notes are very perfume-like and airy. Is this the organic hops at work? The body is bitter through and through, with some malt character present, offering a nice backbone. Again, the hop character is extremely fresh tasting, almost juice like. Interesting IPA all around.
