| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2005 Pours a somewhat opaque reddish/orange color. Sweet floral aroma. Mildly hoppy. Flavor is fairly malty up front. Hops do kick in midway through and give a bit of a bitter kick towards the finish. Very smooth, easy drinking IPA. Good little kick as well with the 7.1%. No alcohol present in the flavor though. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2005 12 oz. bottle. Pours an orange-copper hue with a toasty malt aroma, some fruity notes, and mild American hops. Fruitiness emerges more in the flavor and is punctuated with some firm, resinous hop bitterness. A decent, balanced organic IPA overall.

Darkish copper pour with giant tan head and scads of lace, even, sheeting. Aroma is not great, asparagus, ashtray, wet grain, some cookie. Flavor is more asparagus, more ashtray, no biscuit, no floral, no fruit. Not a horrible quaff, but totally uniteresting and few redeeming qualities. 7+% is totally hidden. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 6, 2005 12 oz bottle. Poured a darker amber color with a smaller off white head. Aromas of mild grapefruit and somewhat fruity. Tastes the same as the aromas. Lightly sweet with a mild bitter finish. Body was on the thin side. DrunkenWeasel (218), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 14, 2005 Updated: Mar 14, 2005Pours a clear dark amber, with a small white head that diminishes rapidly leaving almost no lacing. Smells pretty good with a moderate pine and generic malt smell, but pleasent. Very subtle taste for an IPA but good tasting a little sweet in both the beginning and end with a short aftertatse. Body is medium with fizzy carbonation and fairly syrupy texture (suprising for IPAs) I could feel it coating my mouth some, good beer especially for people that might not like the intense bitterness of most IPAs. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2005 Bottle: Aroma is a little weak for an IPA, just a light citrus hop aroma. Pours a real hazy amber with an off-white head with a yellow tinge. Okay retention and okay lacing. Citrusy up front with a rather malty and hop finish. I’m used to the malt coming at the beginning, but they seem to hit simultaneously with the hops in the finish. Light hop aftertaste. Decent, but nothing special.
