| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold/light amber with a one finger off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. The nose is malt and really faint floral hops. The taste is malt, earthy hops in the middle followed by a decent bitter pine finish. Lighter mouthfeel. Decent taste. A better aroma and better balance would make this a much better IPA. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 24, 2009 Bottle courtesy of WeeheavySD. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of caramel, earthy, oranges. Tastes resiny and bitter with a spicy finish. BOLTZ7555 (1107), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 19, 2009 14 karat pour with nice ivory head that left small sticky ringlets on the inside of the glass. Aroma is citrus, freshly cut grass, and pale malt. Flavor is bitter citrus rind and not much else. A bit thin and, once again, lacks the complexity or depth of flavor to buy again. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 8, 2009 12oz from Bevmo. Pours orange with a big tan head. This beer has room for 7.1% what? Nose is sweet but a bit too sweet. Taste is very think and pretty crappy. ChainGangGuy (2597), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 6, 2009 Appearance: Pours a clear, dark amber body with a foamy, ivory-hued head. Powdery lacing on the way down.
Smell: Aroma smelling of lightly grainy pale malts with airy hop notes of dried herbs and citrus fruit.
Taste: Simple, basic pale malts with a touch of astringent graininess and even less caramel sweetness. Follow that with some herbal, grapefruit hop flavors and a medium bitterness. Finishes bittersweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Reasonably well-balanced, above average India Pale Ale. Nebulor (109), , California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 20, 2009 Lots of complexed aromas including caramel malt spices, and pine.
Clear light copper color with minimal off white head and has some action.
Lots of caramel in the taste with some English Tea in the background. I think in this case the English Tea flavor is the hops and maybe has a hint of grapefruit.
Medium bodied, resinous, crisp carbonation, and consistent throughout.
Well balanced, IMO, a mild IPA that has 6.7% abv and very drinkable. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Poured a clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing.
Moderate grainy malt and hop aroma.
Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation.
Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where met.
