Commercial Description:
Full flavored only begins to describe this traditional IPA. Along with its enormous malt and hop taste, this beer also has room for 7.1% ABV. Available in 6-packs, 22-ounce bottles, and on draft.

Pretty average (at best) for an IPA. Seemed really light in the hops department for an IPA. Maybe a pale ale would be a better description, but then again the ABV is fairly high. The beer really just didn’t do much in either the aroma and taste, while it looks really nice in my chalice. Aroma is faint hops, light caramel malts, a touch soapy with hard to mistake bready note. Flavor has some really mild piney hops going for it, some light caramel malts...just really seemed like a watery IPA or something that between a pale ale and an IPA. I dunno. Pretty forgettable.

Aroma is quite strong and hoppy with a slight citrus undertone. It pours a nice clear orange-gold amber with a fairly thick off-white head. Flavor is strongly hoppy and quite bitter, but nastily rather than pleasantly so. There is also a tinny tone. I hope this bottle came from a bum batch! Texture is a bit thin and watery, and the finish is nastily bitter and metallic.

Pours slight hazy orange with thin white head that doesn’t retain long. Nose is fresh peach pit and orange peel. Some candied fruit aromas are present as well. Palate is maltier than expected, with tangerine & grapefruit tartness coming through. Finish is very acidic & sharp. Medium to light bodied.

Bottle shared by largadeer on BA. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. Aroma is nail polish, caramel, and resiny hops. Besides the nail polish, it’s not too bad. Flavor is below average with burnt wood, caramel, resiny hops. A little weird but not too bad. Palate a bit watery with medium carbonation.

Clear amber color, small steady white head. Yeast, rubber, sweaty hops in the nose. Sweaty, fruity (peach, apricot), hoppy and alcoholic. A bit weird for being American IPA.

A somewhat more translucent appearance than I usually see in an IPA. Aroma is typical, but nothing amazing. Light and piney. There’s something a little off about the taste. It falls a little flat, like it was overhopped without much consideration for balance. It’s drinkable, but it’s an average sampling of the style.

12oz bottle from bevmo. Bright copper with a medium dense head. Malty aroma with fruit, bread, and some earthiness. Strong malt flavor with subdued hops bitterness and a slightly sweet finish. Well-balanced but without much acidity.
