Bottle. Moderate malt and hop aromas of bread, caramel, pine and orange, light leather for the yeast, with pepper and date in the background. Head is huge, rocky, off-white with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is slightly hazy, amber/orange. Flavor sarts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, slick and has a lively carbonation. A great American Pale Ale. Great flavors and aromas, and nice balance throughout.

12oz bottle: Pours a reddish bronze, crystal clear, with a smallish white head. The nose is bright with a healthy dose of orange and grapefruit, very traditional and clean. Some earthy yeasts and caramel malts are present as well. Drinks like an IPA, this middle that offers a nice backbone of caramel, dough and toffee. This is definitely hopped as well, bittering hops numb the tongue. Very rindy, but good and balanced. This is as close as you can get to an IPA and not be one in my book. Well made.

Quite a bit of off flavors and aromas in this one. Nice 14 karat body with a peach colored center and decent fluffy white head. Aroma is earthy, grassy, and spicy. Much sweeter nose than expected and that finds its way into the flavor, as well. Man, do I wish I could place the odd characteristics of this beer. Quite herbal, with iced tea and honey...the spices used just don’t mesh well either. Avoid.

Bottle: Amber colored pour with little to no head. Hoppy, sweet, spicy aroma. Hoppy bitter finish.

An organic ale which is always a plus. Solid malt body and for a pale ale even some hops, probably more than the style calls for though.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber body. Quickly receding off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel, toasted grain. Hint of grass and citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. The finish is lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Dry. A bit of rubbery taste. Medium body with a slightly sticky texture. Though pleasantly bitter in the finish, there is too much chewy malt.

Not my style but I can recognize it is a good beer. Too amber for me. I expected a very clear one.
