The aroma is grassy hops and barley malt. The appearance is hazy gold with a large head. The flavor is bitter and malty just like a pilsner should be. The palate is the right consistency for the style. Overall it fits the style great meaning it lacks complexity but it’s very drinkable and consistent from start to finish.

Thin bitterness. No real malt backbone, or hop backbone. At one point, it even had strong alcohol taste. I then found out it was only 4.1%. Nothing special.

Bottle from World Market American Microbrew pack. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow color. Very sweet grainy aroma. Smooth mouthfeel. Somewhat bitter and grainy with a decent amount of maltiness.

Pours light yellow with a mostly receding white head. Taste and aroma of sweet malt, flowery hops, biscuit, and honey. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly resinous with lively carbonation.

At Hops in Humboldt Micro-Brew Festival in 4 oz glass. Poured light yellow with a little haze and a white head that left minimal lacking. Nose is grainy and grassy with clen hop and malts showing. Very much like the odor of a classic German Pils. Clean mouthfeel and very refreshing going down. Flavor is classic malt and hops, and the finish has just a slight bitterness that makes the a very decent Pils.

Very light aroma. Hop is detectable. Hazy golden color, with little head. Soft light start, maybe a very light sweet, followed by a balance of hop and malt, and ending with a very nice hop finish. This is really impressive, since I just finished a Zatec Pilsner. Lucky once. Lucky twice. This is good. So is Zatec.

Bottle. Pours straw colored and seems unfiltered. Aromas of grains and a slight mustiness. Tastes very clean, very refreshing. Malty and musty, finishes off cleanly.
