Teha aroma is musty grass and grains. Has a decent carbination. Has an okay flavor more than it looked like it would have. Has a light body. A decent crisp finish. With an okay aftertaste. This is not as bad as you may think it would be. I can drink it. HogTownHarry (4025), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 12, 2009 Bottle (12oz). Organic - pffft - loses two points just for self-aggrandizement and bullshit. Hazy, flat and lemony-looking pale gold, small fizzy white head. Smells pretty decent, lemon grass and a little honey. The taste is a little jagged, grassy, but a little sour, grainy aftertaste. Flat, thin mouthfeel, a little too acidic, slightly harsh on the palate - smells good, and apart from a lack of carbonation, quite decent - although the bitter aftertaste made me thirstier than when I popped the bottle. badlizard (2380), Berkeley, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2009 Bottle at restaurant eloise. Clear honey yellow with no head. Sweet grain and bread aroma and taste with some floral honey notes. Cybercat (818), Georgia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Comes out of the tap a clear straw yellow with a fluffy and fine-bubbled white head. Aroma is crisp and malty with a hint of apple. Flavor is malty and apply, fairly crisp, but a tone of wilting lettuce tended to get stronger as I drank it. Then again, pilsners are not my favorite sort of beer. Texture is smooth and a little tingly, about average. Maybe I got some from a bum batch, or maybe organic pilsners are not for me. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 12, 2009 16 ounce pint - $5.00 at Taco Mac (Crabapple) in Roswell, Georgia.
Appearance: Displays a nearly clear, light yellow body with a small, but persistent, white head.
Smell: Lightly grainy pils malt nose, a bit sweet-smelling, and with supporting floral and spicy hop overtones and a meager note of lemony citrus.
Taste: Pilsner malts with a sweaty, lightly sweet cereal grain character starts followed by a sweetish floral, lightly spicy European Noble hop character and medium bitterness. Add in a teaspoon of fresh lemonade. The graininess intensifies throughout the pint. Finishes dry, faintly grainy, and with a mild, lasting hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Fairly refreshing and drinkable. It dutifully served its function well as a warm-up beer before the release of the final keg (at least in GA) of Hop Secret 393. BrotherGrendel (604), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 9, 2009 A- Pours a very light, murky yellow hue, very little head that is mostly diminishing, no lacing
S- Nose is of grain, grass, earth/dirt, and a good dose of hay, some very light citrus in the background as well
T- Initial taste is grassy/earthy hops and hops dominate throughout, some grainy malts in there as well, a little bit of citrus, crisp, dry finish
M- Light-bodied pilsner, watery, smooth texture, carbonation is a little biting
D- This is very easy-drinking and could easily be a session beer at 4%abv, I find this a smooth and refreshing pilsner, I am really digging on the earthy flavoring, you truly get an ’Organic’ feel from this beer dwaggs2 (561), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 10, 2008 Bottle. This is an average beer with not a whole lot in taste. Pours a golden color with almost no head at all. Leaves some lacing on the side of the glass. Drinkable beer Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico
