Taste is bold pilsner with a nice balance between sweet malts and bitter astringent hops. Dry bitter finish. Good Pilsner. Fine session beer At 4.1 % abv. gerardoluna (195), Mexico

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2008 Hazy cloudy yellow, not much head. Grainy aroma. Slight citrus spritz, almost detecting a styrian goldings kiss. Soft, nice mouthfeel without too much carbonation. Gentle grassy hops, filled with fresh green tastes. Sessionable. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 24, 2008 I must have had this beer in absolutely perfect condition, given the low ratings. Amazing stuff. Overall, this was very light. Breezy, in fact. But the lemon and grass aroma and flavor it acheived through perfect hopping was just mind blowing to me. I loved it. posikyle (165), Alabama, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 24, 2008 12 oz bottle via Capital Market. Pours a semi-clear amber with an average sized, quickly dissipating head. Nose is earthy hops, saaz or something similar. Tastes like it smells, semi-sweet then earthy, spicy, and with a crisp dry finish. Carbonation is perfect as is the body. One of the best American Pilsners i have tasted. Nice work Butte Creek!
