Poured a slightly hazed light yellow with a large white head. Floral and earthy hop aroma over a mild malt with some citrus. Malty and grainy flavor with a moderatley bitter dry finish.

Crisp and slightly sulfery tasting pils, yeasty with a herbal hop finish. Slightly woody tasting and lemony notes. Pours hazy yellow with a strong white head. Not very similar to urquell, but a nice pils in its own way.

My Bottom Line:
Sulphury notes peruse through the frank herbal hops and their savoury spiciness in this highly drinkable and flavorful Pilsener.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the witbier-like hazy pale yellow.
-Herbal, wooden hops sprinkle joy throughout, branching out into citrusy and grassy personas once in a while.
-Body’s loose and watery at times, but the wet straw maltiness manages to hold every flavor in check.
-Carbonation might be more relaxed than the usual pils, but then again this one doesn’t feel like it’s aiming at Czech or German lineage specifically.

Bottle; no date.

One of the finest American pilsners available, this straw colored lager is brewed with choice German malts, and Czech hops. Lively head and frothy lacing is evident in this wonderful summer beer.

(Bottle) Organic beer blind tasting at Brouwers’s in Seattle, March 3, 2007. Pours a cloudy yellow body with a dissipated white head. Too cold in temperature. Very metallic - almost rusty - with a leafy and wet grain aroma. Flavour is oddly hoppy. Not bad once warmed but strangely herbal and hoppy finish. Good.

Very tastey pils. Heavy on the hops but still well balanced. Good flavor and above average lacing.

These guys make organic stuff, bit of depth and earthiness to an otherwise run-of-the-mill pils. There is a middling OK mouthfeel to this, though somewhat metallic element and a bit acidic in the finish overriding the bitterness. Probably better with food. Refreshing but drying and it does leave a drop of fruit.

Pours golens and hazy. The nose is grainy and grassy, with a touch of honey and hops. The taste is like dry grass with a lightly bitter finish. Pretty refreshing overall.
