Too weak for me. Highly carbonated. Metallic watery taste. I hoped for better. Good color and head but that’s about it.

Chestnut brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted nuts with a definite medicinal presence. Flavor of burnt peanuts and metal. Extremely thin - I’ve had Pale Lagers with more body.

Semi transparent with a nice head. Earthy, tastes of oats, slightly smoky. Dry and a slightly bitter.

Mahogany with fair tan head / Faint roast nose / Light body, little watery, with faint finish / Weak flavor of coffee and chocolate / Another indifferent effort from this organic but otherwise undistinguished brewer.

Fairly tranpearent body for a porter, had amber tint to it. Nice head, some lacing. Lots of sweet aroma, notes of chocolate, coffee, sugar cane, with floral qualities to it, as well as dry hops and a touch of pine. In the mouth it starts out somewhat dead, some sweet grape and chalk to it, but then opens up with the chocolate and roasted malts. The hops then hit, with sherry and pine flavors. I could also detect the aclohol at points. The body was weak for the style. But a very enjoyable beer.

Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a thin, wispy-lacing, light-tan head. Aroma of sweet, yet earthy roasty malts with some smoke and ash. Body starts sweet and caramely malty with nice dark chocolatey flavor and a roasty coffee finish. A nice porter.

From bottle. Pours dark brown with small tan head and little lacing. Good mouthfeel. Nose of malts, chocolate, coffee, and hops. Smooth drinking and decent finish. Decent porter.

Watery pour - light brown in color, no head and very thin in appearance. Some funky alcohol in the aroma. Caramel brown ale flavor, slight twang in the finish. Not too good.
