The aroma is light, with a few roasted malts coming through. The flavor is fairly tame as well. A light body with a hint of coffee for the aftertaste. I’m not getting the hops they advertise on the bottle. Too tame for me. argo0 (6939), Washington DC, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Possibly the lightest porter I’ve ever seen, with a large but rapidly diminishing head. Roasty nose with notes of caramel, coffee and light hops and chocolate. Much more chocolate in the finish. Not bad, but not worth seeking out.
