Possibly the lightest porter I’ve ever seen, with a large but rapidly diminishing head. Roasty nose with notes of caramel, coffee and light hops and chocolate. Much more chocolate in the finish. Not bad, but not worth seeking out.

The aroma is not disappointing. It has coffee, toasted malt, and a little chocolate. The appearance is dark read brown with a medium head. The flavor has some peat in it but its mostly toasted malt and a bitter coffee in the finish. The palate is average but it’s a nice porter.

12 oz bottle, via Indiana_Red. Chestnut colored pour with a thin small head that fades quickly to a thin film. Chocolate malt and cola aroma with some roast. Also a weird metallic grainy component that’s rather unpleasant. A very unpleasant grainy flavor as well. Very harsh and astringent. Some positive notes of chocolate malt. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with a moderate fizzy carbonation. This was not good. Is it the pesticides that make most beers better than this?

from the bottle. poured a a dark brown with a tan head. aroma roasted malts, coffee, brown sugar, chocolate and caramel, with just a small amount of hops popping their heads out as it warmed. flavor malts, chocolate, the hops come out pretty good in the flavor and the coffe takes a back seat on this. good beer.

Nice dark pour... tan head. Sweet lactic chocolate aroma with some coffee. Taste is pretty sweet with chocolate, but the chocolate qualities continue with a bitter edge to counter the sweetness. Some roasty coffee in there too. Nice lingering sweet coffee finish. Nice overall.

This is quite like drinking a cup of coffee that had been left sitting, literally like a cold cup of coffee. Lots of roasted chocolate flavors, and very dry, which really turned me off to it, and somewhat more of an unbalanced hop presence, which I also do not like in this style. Needs more body, no weight in the mouthfeel.
