I don’t know, but this seems strange. An organic porter that is full-bodied and tastes good! Whenever I consume "organic" things, I’m usually disappointed. This is quite an exception. The malted barley dominates the aroma without any bitter hops. The flavor is all porter too! There is not a lot of head after the pour, but there is nice lacing throughout. In addition to the full body, there is some chocolate and pleasing hop bitterness in the aftertaste. This from a non-hophead!

Roasted malty goodness! Thick rich and dark, not heavily carbonated. A good, solid porter.

Pours near black with ruby hues and a thin, mostly receding tan head. Aroma of roasting coffee, roasted malt, Taste is sweet malts, with notes of coffee and light roast. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly sticky.

A bit underrated, in my opinion. Pours a deep brown with yellow edges, a medium light tan head. Aroma is very sweet and smoky. Flavor is spot on. Dark, roasted malts, slight chocolate, some yeast, and a tangy hop finish. Dry coffee aftertaste. Smooth and quaffable.

I am actually reall impressed with this porter, i haven’t really been fond of much else from this brewery, but this was a nice porter. Pours very dark brown, almost black, with a faint beige head. Very dark roastiness comes forth with a hint of burnt chocolate and dark coffee bean. The carbonation seems maybe a touch to much, kinda takes away from the smoothness and makes it feel thinner than it is. Very well balanced on the hop side. Finish kinda tastes like a mudslide, kalua, creamy, caramel, and milk chocolate.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with deep red in spots. Nearly no head on this, unfortunately. Aroma is light roasted and sweet. Chocolate, light coffee, and mild hop bitterness. Taste is roasty as well with coffee with cream and sugar, light hops, some melon notes, caramel and dark fruits. Body is a bit on the thin side, however. Mild carbonation. Finishes with light coffee and cream notes, sweet malts, candy, caramel and light hops.

Dark brown in color with a brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate and coffee. The taste has some rich chocolate and then coffee.

Dark amber/brown color,Nice medium sized tan head that had a good hang time then faded slowly to leave a decent lace behind.Nice roasty malty flavor with some nice chocolate tones maybe a bit of fruit in the back ground as well as a faint hint of hops coming through in the end.A pretty nice brew all around, fairly balanced and easy to drink.
